This is Jenny G-Noor, people just call me Jenny.

Because of my father’s work, my mother took me to North Dakota with them for a few years when I was a kid. 

Since then, I have been traveling to different countries every year.

I take photos and videos to record my life. And I use them as art materials.

 

Then they took me back to Taiwan for education.

I took piano lessons for 6 years from the age of 7.
Then in high school, I realized that jazz drumming was my true love.
So I started jazz drumming after my senior year of high school.
I once thought of starting a band with my friends.
But after all, music is just a hobby.
I just need an MIDI Keyboard and I can change the sound of any instrument.
It's satisfying to make music that creates the atmosphere of a scene.

In Taiwan, I majored in Visual Communication Design in Dayeh University.

I'm also interested in architecture and space design, so I learned a bit.

I do graphic design, visual communication design, CIS design, structural design, animation, commercials and so on…

and exhibition curation for others is also one of my jobs.

 

After graduating from university and 2 years of running my design studio, I decided to come to Tokyo and entered a technical college to learn jewelry design.

I choose jewelry design not because I like jewelry.

It is because I want to learn the most delicate techniques.

I think if I can even make a jewelry by myself,

then there is almost nothing that I can't do with my own hands.

 

And then, I also started to make digital art since 2019.

It’s the way I use to control my emotions.

 

My digital art, 

from visuals to music composition, is all original.

 

And my metal craft and all other material designs or arts are created in simple but unique shapes and structures like architecture that people rarely see.

 

To me, a finished design or art is not just the creation of an object, but the overall design of the exhibition, including the atmosphere and promotion design. 

I always put a lot of effort into the display to create the atmosphere.

So if people ask what I make?

I’ll say,

I'm an atmosphere maker.

 

No matter jewelry or other materials’ designs, even digital art, everything is just a part of the artwork in my project. Though they can be shown separately, but in my project, they were made to blend with each other, just like a scene in a movie. And when people come to my solo exhibition, they will feel like getting into another world. And everyone builds their own stories inside their brain. So the world isn't just mine, but those who can feel and imagine.
